I've been using Aveeno Positively Smooth Shave Gel(in a can) for years now, and have found nothing else that compares to it. I've even tried some of the top-rated shaving soaps with a brush, and find that they are not as good as the shave gel. For the past few months though, I have been unable to find it anywhere. I decided to give this a try.

The first time I tried it, I lathered it up on my face and shaved. It was comparable to what I've experienced with other shaving creams and not satisfactory at all.

Next, I tried putting a little in my shaving cup and lathering it up with my brush. This produced results better than most shaving creams, but not as good as a real shaving soap.

If they just called this shower gel, I would not have tried it, because I already have products I prefer in that role. As for being a shaving cream, it is not satisfactory for me.

I rarely write reviews. I think this is the 3rd I've written ever on any site and for some reason I feel compelled to write about this product line. Although I really liked the original, untinted version of this product, it left a white cast. Smelled great, chemical free, lots of good anti-aging ingredients, but too much white for me.

This new tinted version is SO much better. It has great anti-aging ingredients in it (although I'd like to see some peptides too, but I use peptide serums from Garden of Wisdom so not a big deal to apply a serum and then this sunscreen). I apply serum, this sunscreen, and then powder bare minerals veil over it to get rid of any shine.

The scent is strong and although I don't like it, I'm willing to tolerate it. I can't identify the smell. Maybe heavy vanilla? It fades after a while. Would like a scent-free version and wish it cost less. Price is high and I do wonder about the percentages of each ingredient bc there are so many in... Read more

Ihave been using this sun screen for over a month or two and I think it is okay. I feel that it blends in well but it seem to make me look darker. It stays on well where it is not too oily or too drying. I would like to see it get rid of my wrinkles because of all the antioxidants ingredients. The only downfall I find in this sunscreen is that it doesn't lighten up my skin tone like it says it will do. I will continue to finish the whole bottle to hopefully see the results I am looking for. This is why I give it a four star instead of five star.

I am a 36 year old male. I am not metro-sexual nor a transvestite, but I want to maintain my youthful skin! On occasion, I have been found reaching for Aveda daily lotion that has since been discontinued without a replacement, so I decided to wait for something to come along. I have been using this Aveeno Ageless Moisturizer with SPF42 for a few weeks and my skin feels and looks great. I have naturally pale white skin, so I am more sensitive than most with shaving & weather related abrasions. I have truly enjoyed the non-greasy feel and shiny, healthy glow that skin is able to maintain with this product. I am not bothered by any fragrance, nor do I feel less masculine for wanting to postpone my professional colleague's dark eye circles, rough skin patches & truck-stop cafe complexions. It is a simple daily routine with a quality product that helps delay the inevitable even if we are not truly "ageless". Use it, enjoy it! Have great skin!

i tried spf 30 of this same brand, and roc, and a few other anti wrinkle sunblock with moisturizer lotions, this stuff seems to stay on the skin better and also moisturize, plus it's so small you can keep in the car and/or your pocket, but because of the high spf, it's expensive...it's oily though, so if you got dry skin, this is for you...

First, the product is great! Used for my toddler and I got results for his mild eczema. Found it in Walmart for about $15 for the 16oz; two years ago. Looked recently, not being sold any longer in stores:( the price is a shocker! I guess they got rave reviews when it debuted.
