The four things that I react to were then entered in a database of products. In my case, the common thread was chemicals that are formaldehyde-containing or -releasing (long chemical names: 6,6-dihydro-monoallyl blah, blah, blah...) The software then spits out a list of the things I could safely use. This was one of them. I tried another product in the list first. It was a cleanser, but not much of a body wash for the shower; I felt moisturized but not cleansed.So I switched to this Aveeno product from my "safe" list. It's a much better wash, mild and soothing, but not as moisturizing. This works for me (maybe it's a male thing...I want at least some lather). You have to experiment to find the right one for *your* skin. |
